Bianca de Freitas obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Law, and LLB at the University of Johannesburg.

During her university career Bianca often worked within the University of Johannesburgs judicial services as a student legal representative for students in their disciplinary hearings as well as started the UJ law society with some colleagues as a means to encourage others to do the same as well as provide law students with a sense of community and support within the university.

Bianca’s legal interests are very diverse but she has a particular interest in family law, labour law, litigation and commercial law.
