Layyah Kharwa obtained her LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
During her studies, she was selected to participate in an international exchange programme at the University of Oslo, where she developed a strong interest in the intersection between law and technology. This experience sparked a particular interest in data protection, privacy, and the legal implications of emerging technologies.
Layyah is keen to gain broad exposure during her candidacy and is especially interested in exploring technology-related legal issues alongside other areas of practice.
