Matthew joined Thomson Wilks in August 2024 as a Consultant Attorney in the Corporate and Commercial Department. He has extensive experience across a wide range of commercial and corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals and corporate restructurings. He also advises on matters of regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
As a lead attorney for both private and public entities (reporting directly to executives and senior management), Matthew has represented clients from the earliest stages of deal inception and structuring, through complex due diligence investigations and on to the preparation, negotiation and due implementation of term sheets and transaction agreements.
