Megan Shandler has a strong academic background and holds various academic accolades. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in law and media in 2017, and a post graduate Bachelor of Laws in 2019 - graduating cum laude from the University of the Witwaterstrand.
During her articles, Megan gained experience in general litigation. She drafted various articles, one of them being published in Security Focus Africa.
Megan joined the Thomson Wilks team in February 2022 and was admitted as an attorney the following month. Since joining she has gained experience in commercial litigation, focusing on asset recovery, urgent applications, trials and arbitrations. Megan has a passion for resolving complex commercial disputes across various different sectors and represents high-profile clients.
Megan was promoted to senior associate in March 2025.
