Mohsina is a Director in our Employment Law Practice.  She has vast experience in Employment Law and related fields and acts for various Employers, both within the public and private sectors / public sector entities, within diverse industries including corporate, local and government, education.

CAREER /WORK EXPERIENCE

• Chairperson – Human Rights Committee –Northwest University 2015 – present.

• Advising corporate clients on all aspects of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management, including, Business Redesign, Restructuring, Merger and Transfers, Employee Benefits, Performance Management and Discipline, Mediation and Facilitations.

• Collective Bargaining and constitutional aspects thereof, etc.

• Collective Bargaining and constitutional aspects thereof, etc.

• Management of Industrial Action and strike related disputes and all legislative aspects thereof.

• Constitutional Court, Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, CCMA and Bargaining Council appearances and representation, including, urgent applications, review applications, restraint of trade, s197 transfer disputes and large-scale retrenchment disputes.

• Retrenchments and Redundancies, which include large scale retrenchments.

• Strategizing on all employment related matters, including, but not limited to, negotiations, facilitations, mediations and arbitrations.

• Training on various aspects of labour legislation, including performance management, general workplace discipline, amendments to legislation, etc.

• Restraint of Trade disputes and Urgent Applications.

• Acted Judge at the Labour Court.

• Elected to attend First National Practical Legal Training School for Candidate Attorneys in 1991.
