Jonathan White graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2007 and thereafter completed his articles 2008. In 2008 he was admitted as both an Attorney and Notary. During 2009 he joined FJ Jordaan Incorporated where he was appointed Director and shareholder in 2010 where he remained for several years.
He is a seasoned litigator having litigated in civil and commercial matters in South Africa and multiple foreign jurisdictions. He has been involved with various arbitration forums including the LCC (London Commercial Court of Arbitration with his seat in Dubai and London), the DIFC (Dubai), the African continent, Europe and the United States.
He acts for various large sellers and purchasers in international high value commercial commodities transactions with a specific focus on the purchase and sale of gold and diamonds, the various exchange control regimes, foreign tax jurisdictions, contract management and logistic planning.
He is a seasoned litigator in relation to the mining space both local and international and has dealt with drafting of various high value agreements in relation to the industry. In line with this area he also focuses on construction and engineering disputes.
