Anel obtained her LLB degree from the University of Stellenbosch and was admitted as an attorney in 2015 after completing her articles at Thomson Wilks Inc. She was appointed as a director in the Cape Town office in 2019.

Anel has a general commercial and civil litigation practice dealing with matters in the Magistrate’s and High Courts, arbitrations and other dispute resolution forums as well as the drafting of commercial agreements, trusts, wills and ante nuptial contracts.
